Ozon’s gross merchandise value doubles to 32 bln rbl in Jan–Mar

MOSCOW, Jun 10 (PRIME) -- The gross merchandise value (GMV) of Russian online store Ozon soared to 31.6 billion rubles, value-added tax (VAT) included, in January–March from some 14 billion rubles in the same period of 2019, the highest dynamics over 15 years, the company said on Wednesday in a statement.

“During three months, the company delivered 13.4 million orders with a total of 51.5 million items. In April, the GMV, VAT included, was at 14.9 billion rubles, which is by almost 200% more than a year earlier,” the company said.

The number of new clients on Ozon doubled on the year in March and April.
